Evan Knoble was with Southern Peninsula Players from the beginning of 2000 to 2013 and Astral from 1997 to 2016. He has been responsible for all Technical Roles such as Sound, Lighting, Set Design and Construction, Equipment Maintenance, Publicity, Graphic Arts and nearly every other odd-job it takes to get a show on-stage.
Evan was the President of Rosebud Astral Theatre Society (2000 - 2012). Having directed many Musicals and Dramas, Evans last role as SPP's director was with SPP's May 2012 production of Fawlty Towers and his last role as Astral's director was with Astral's 2016 production of Sweeney Todd.
Preferring the on-stage experience, he has been in many shows with Astral. Prior to coming to Rosebud, Evan has always been in community theatre groups or professional theatre throughout the eastern states of Australia. His on-stage appearances have included;

Evan also appears as an Actor or featured extra in many TV shows and Movies. He has a "Career Criminal" appearance that has led him to many episodes of Stingers, Halifax FP, Blue Heelers, Underbelly and Marshalls Law. For a change from the criminal, Evan played a "mad homeless person" character for a bit-part in City Homicide.
His appearances in Childrens shows include Round The Twist, Neighbours, Scooter Secret Agent and Elephant Princess.
Evan's main love is Comedy and his appearances in Comedy shows include Wilfred, Skithouse and The Wedge.

To prove that anything is possible and to have a good laugh, Evan worked as a Fashion Model for a few issues of FHM Magazine in 2004.
In 2011 Evan appeared in a tourist phone app to advertise the old Quarantine Centre at Point Nepean shot by Aphids and in 2013 he renewed his association with them when he starred in their short film, FINALE (the Drive In Project) which premiered at the Dromana Drive in on the first of February 2014.
